Workshop Focus : Frida Kahlo Portraits

Create a vibrant mixed media portrait of the iconic Mexican artist. Children will be taken through the stages of drawing a portrait using accurate facial features & proportions. They will have great fun creating a 3D flower head dress for Frida, adorning her with jewels and setting her in a collaged background which will use dramatic symbolism to tell the story of her difficult life.

Children will take home a beautifully framed portrait which will sit proudly on any gallery wall.

Art Materials: Water colour paints, ink, jewels, tissue paper, metallic pens, magazines

Price includes cost of tuition, all art materials and a healthy snack.
